Google yesterday released its Knowledge Sharing Platform, Knol . With the release of Knol, Google plans to put a tough competition with Wikipedia and win a better share of the Internet.
Recently, there was a lot of buzz about this new Knowledge Bank, but the initial Buzz was lost and the official release of Knol took more than 2 months.Coming back, Every post written in Knol is called a 'Knol'. Google has a tie up with New Yorker magazine which will let a author use one Cartoon per post (to illustrate the post) from their Extensive Cartoon Gallery.
