Fundemental Rights :
1. Right to Equality
2. Right to Freedom
3. Right against Exploitation
4. Right to freedom of Religion
5. Cultural and Educational Rights
6. Right to constitutional remedies
7. Right to Education

Fundemental Duties :
1. Respect the Constitution, National Flag and the National Anthem
2. Cherish the noble ideas of the freedom struggle.
3. Uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India.
4. Defend the country and render national service when called for.
5. Promote common brotherhood of all the people of India and renounce any practice derogatory to the dignity of women.
6. Preserve the rich heritage of the nations's composite culture.
Protect the natural enviornment and have compassion for living creatures.
8. Develop scientific temper, humanism and spirit of enquiry and reform.
9. Safeguard public property and abjure violence.
10. Strive for excellence in all individual and collective activity.

As you can see above, the rights and duties of an Indian citizen urges each Inidan to look for excellence and to have noble values in life. All Inidan traditions and cultural values are given top prirority here. Every requried value in a human being, like Love for his own country, common brotherhood , love for fellow beings , and regular and constant effort to excel is given utmost prirority here.
