Spammers and hackers create lots of viruses the spreads through e-mails. Some viruses do not affect the computer but sends mails with un-expected content to our contacts. Contents can be of any nature, from harmless adds to those with sexual content. Such mails are send from our inbox in the normal way as we send other mails. So when recieved such mails look as if sent by us. This can bring unexpected results and may hamper the senders reputation. So its very important to put a check on such mails.

In the normal way as we scan our harddisc, we cannot scan our inbox. Here are some ways in whch you can know whether you are sending such mails.

In to your contacts add a new contact with name as ' aaaaa ' or so and e-mail address as ' aaa@aaa.com ' so that it comes first in your contact list. When a virus sends a mail to this e-mail id the postmaster of your mail service will send you a delivery failure message. If you get one then its time to check your inbox.

There are many ways in which you can remove such viruses.
One easy way is to empty your inbox. But doing that is not as easy as it is said because we will be having some mails whcih we do not like to delete.
If you do not wish to empty your inbox check your inbox for mails from unidentified senders. If your mail service has got an anti-spam policy report the sender. Deleting all such mails must solve the problem.
If you are using a paid email account, you can request your service provider to scan your inbox. This will surely fix the problem.
